
UEE30820 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician
This qualification provides individuals with the skills and knowledge to select, install, set up, test, fault find, repair and maintain electrical systems and equipment in buildings and premises. It includes Electrical Regulatory Authority Council (ERAC), or their successor’s, Essential Performance Capabilities for an ‘Unrestricted Electrician’s license’.
- Must have an apprenticeship or traineeship arrangement with an employer
- Year 10 completion or equivalent (recommended)
- Satisfactory LLN (Language, Literacy & Numeracy) assessment results
- Must be able to meet the inherent physical requirements of the role
- Must hold a valid Unique Student Identifier (USI)
- Pre-training review to determine suitability
Assessment
Assessment methods include practical demonstrations, written assessments, knowledge tests, workplace observations, third-party reports, and portfolio evidence. Assessments are conducted both in our training facilities and in the workplace to ensure competency in real-world settings.
Recognition of Prior Learning
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is available for students who can demonstrate existing competencies through prior formal or informal training, work experience, or life experience. Contact us to discuss your eligibility for RPL.
Applicants are required to undertake a Language, Literacy, and Numeracy (LLN) assessment prior to enrolment. Support services are available for students who require additional LLN assistance throughout their training.
